Shilo Named Official Hotel Of Pacific Crest

| |

Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization announces a partnership with the Shilo Hilltop Inn and Hilltop Suites. Under this three-year agreement, the Shilo will be Pacific Crest’s official hotel.

The Shilo will offer Pacific Crest fans a discounted room rate that can be used anytime during the year, but should be most useful during the audition weekend, Corps at the Crest, and other events when fans will want to stay overnight in the area. In addition, the Shilo will provide lodging for DCI judges at Corps at the Crest.

“We have many students who audition each year who come from 50 or more miles away,” said Executive Director Stuart Pompel. “This will give them an opportunity to stay locally during the audition weekend. Moreover, the thousands of drum corps fans who attend Corps at the Crest will be have the opportunity to make their Southern California drum corps experiences a weekend outing that includes a wonderful hotel property.”

Indeed, the Shilo Hilltop Suites Restaurant boasts a panoramic view and a menu designed by an award winning executive chef. “For those staying overnight after Corps at the Crest, I highly encourage them to enjoy brunch on Sunday morning. The price is reasonable, and the food is amazing,” said Pompel.

Heinz Gehner, General Manager of the Shilo said, “We are committed to serving our community, and I know that Pacific Crest’s fans will have a great experience whenever they stay at the Shilo!”

To take advantage of the Pacific Crest discount, PC fans should use the Pacific Crest Reservation Code, PCYA, when registering by phone or on line. Call toll free 800-222-2244 for reservations.

About Shilo Inns and Hilltop Suites

SHILO INNS was founded in 1974, and today, has more than 45 convenient locations in nine western states. Shilo Inns is considered the largest private, independently owned and operated hospitality company in the Western United States. Mark S. Hemstreet, Founder and Owner of Shilo Inns, learned a lot about the hospitality business from his mother and father. He demonstrated his entrepreneurial abilities at the age of 16 as summer manager of a small motel. He cultivated an early vision of developing the best independent hotel/motel/resort chain in the Pacific Northwest. The results of that experience, and dream, culminated in his officially opening the first Shilo Inn at age 24, in 1974 (30-plus years ago). Mr. Hemstreet contributes most of Shilo’s success to the hard work and dedication of Shilo Employees, who truly enjoy pampering our guests with Shilo’s special brand of hospitality.

Each Shilo Inn has been designed to offer quality guest comfort at an affordable price. In-room amenities include free high speed Internet access in every room, first-run movies & entertainment, hair dryers, clock radios, microwaves, refrigerators, wet bars, coffee makers and ironing units.
