WEHC-TV News Report On DCA Finals In Rochester

The superbowl of Drum and Bugle corps competitions is coming to Rochester this summer. Tuesday morning local county and city leaders announced that the 42nd Drum and Bugle Corps World Championship will be held at the new Paetec Park, Labor Day weekend. The 2-day competition is expected to draw thousands of visitors and pump millions of dollars into the local economy.

"While these things are incredibly fun, they’re exciting to bring people to this city. The economic impact I can not reinforce enough. It puts people to work, it puts money into the local economy, it’s a winner for all of us." Said Rochester Mayor, Bob Duffy.
