Competitors To The Corps

Eight drum and bugle corps from across the country visited Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium on Tuesday night as part of a cross-country tour by some of the nation’s best young band members. The Drums Across Kansas event drew several thousand to the stadium to watch the half-time-style shows that had participants playing drums, bugles and percussion instruments. Color guards swirled rifles, flags and other props.
