San Francisco Renegades Receive $20,000 Donation

| |

The San Francisco Renegades Drum and Bugle Corps is pleased to announce the receipt of a very generous donation of $20,000 from Above and Beyond Wellness, Inc.

This donation will be put towards the purchase of instruments for our front ensemble, a.k.a. "the Pit." The San Francisco Renegades have become famous for not only featuring the traditional "pit" equipment such as xylophones, marimbas and tympani, but they are proud to have become famous (or infamous) for experimenting with objects to create new sounds, such as DuplosT, gardening tools, even a bicycle rigged up with a cymbal or two. This donation will go far towards ensuring the Renegades continue on their path of musical excellence and innovation.

Above and Beyond Wellness, Inc. (http://www.young-living.com) was founded by Catherine Heather Wendt and Keith Bartlett in 2003. They are distributors for Young LivingT essential oils, dietary supplements, personal care products, and other unique solutions for healthy lifestyles.

The San Francisco Renegades final California performance is Saturday, 26th of August in Concord, California (time and location are not available yet, but will be advertised soon on www.renegades.org). The Renegades leave to compete in the Drum Corps Associates Championship competition in Rochester, New York over the Labor Day Weekend. Every year since 2002, when they debuted at DCA Championships, they have placed in the top 10, and finished 5th in competition last year. They look forward to continuing to produce their best, while exceeding expectations amongst some very talented competitors nation-wide.
