Austin Stars Seeking Members And Staff

The Austin Stars Drum & Bugle Corps of Austin, Texas is now taking applications for members and staff in all sections for thee 2007 season. Membership is open to people of all ages who have previous experience in marching band, drumline, color guard or drum corps. All members must be capable of playing technically demanding music and physically capable of marching a demanding drill in extreme conditions. The Austin Stars are a "weekend only" corps so that we don’t have to sacrifice jobs or school to participate.

First auditions will be held at our inaugural rehearsal on Saturday, November 18th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Stony Point High School, 1801 Bowman Rd. in Round Rock, Texas. During the summer, the Austin Stars will perform at local and regional drum corps events and compete in the 2007 Drum Corps Associates (DCA) World Championships. All prospective members and staff must fill out the online application at the corps website.
