Brigadiers Name New PR Director

The Syracuse Brigadiers are pleased to announce the addition of April Min to the 2007 Administrative staff as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Her role will be to promote the Brigadiers and its "Tradition of Excellence" to the drum corps and general communities and to serve as the corps’ communications and media liason.

April has been a member of the Brigadier family since the 2002 season, contributing in various capacities including lead mellophone, drum major and visual staff. She is a former Marine, having served as a mellophone and soprano bugler with "The Commandant’s Own," the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps in Washington, DC. April has also been a marching member and on the brass staff with the Westshoremen Drum & Bugle Corps. April currently resides in the Washington, DC area where she is a litigation attorney. The Brigadiers look forward to the addition of April’s background and experience to its team.

With roots dating to 1938, the Syracuse Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps ever to win four consecutive DCA titles.
