Glassmen Celebrate 45th Anniversary At Banquet

The GLASSMEN wrapped up an immensely successful 2006 season at their annual awards banquet earlier this September. The corps celebrated by recapping all they had accomplished in this 45th Anniversary year.

From their 2006 debut with the Toledo Symphony , to the first annual GLASSMEN Showcase Concert, numerous ENTERTRAINMENT™ Clinics around the world, and the corps’ first European Tour – they certainly had a lot to celebrate! Hundreds of photos, video and audio clips, and a table of awards and accolades adorned the banquet hall, reminding all of the unforgettable memories this remarkable season helped create. After the dinner, dozens of awards were handed out to members, staff, and volunteers in recognition of their accomplishments this season. Then the members of the corps joined together onstage to sing the corps song "Madre" one final time together. It was truly "an experience of a lifetime!" Congratulations, GLASSMEN!
