Pioneer Adds Ed Warren To Staff

The “Irish Corps”, Pioneer, is honored to have the services and the addition of Mr. Ed Warren from Brooklyn, Michigan to its instructional staff, as the staff of teachers is being secured for the 2007 season.

Ed Warren has been involved in the pageantry activity for more than 35 years as a marching member, instructor, director, designer/coordinator, and as a judge. He also has conducted numerous clinics and seminars, and is sought after as a consultant.

Ed served as the Drill Designer and Visual Coordinator for the Northern Aurora Drum Corps in the mid 1990’s and has written for several other groups prior and since that time in the drum corps activity. He also conducts numerous programs for fall band and winter guards and percussion.

Mr. Warren has adjudicated at 10 DCI Championships including the past 3 years. He has judged for the Bands of America Grand Nationals 12 times and has judged for Drum Corps Japan as well as many regional and state invitationals. He has also judged the Winter Guard International Percussion for 7 years. Ed also serves as the Judges’ Coordinator for the Michigan Competing Band Association and is a former Drum Corps Midwest visual caption chairperson.

Ed is co-owner of a business, Warren Creative Designs, with his wife Peggy. His design business sells pageantry uniforms, accessories, show design and instruments to bands, drum corps, and winter performance ensembles. He is also a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker.

Oliver Bullock was the Show/Staff Coordinator for the 2006 Season.
