Capital Sound Open House

Capital Sound Drum & Bugle Corps of Madison, Wisconsin will hold its first-ever Open House for prospective members on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the East Side Club (former East Side Business Men’s Association), 3735 Monona Drive, Madison. At the open house, current marching members will be present to show skills and answer questions. You’ll meet our new corps director, Marc Gofstein, who marched with Santa Clara Vanguard and the Madison Scouts in the mid-1980s. We will show DVDs of former shows and have uniforms and instruments on display. We invite anyone age 14-21 interested in being part of the four sections of drum corps (brass, marching percussion, percussion ensemble [also known as "the pit"] and colorguard), as well as those interested in becoming instructors, to consider Capital Sound.
