Northern Star Drum & Bugle Corps, from Leeds, England are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Larrivee as their Front Ensemble arranger for 2007.

"It is my pleasure to work again with Northern Star," says Neil. Having witnessed the great work of the corps’ performance at the 2006 DCE Championships with some arrangements they had purchased from me, I felt becoming further involved with customized arranging was a logical next step. I am excited to be on board from the start with this very fine team!"

Head of Percussion Nick Emmett said, "it is very exciting to have Neil working with us for 2007. His work for the Cadets has been phenomenal and having worked with some of those charts and finally meeting Neil this year I know it’s going to be great having Neil actually write for us."

Neil Larrivee is currently the Pit Director and Arranger for the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps where he has been since 1993, helping to create some of the most famous Drum Corps shows in history. Neil served as Co-Marching Band Director and Arranger at King Philip Regional High School of Wrentham, MA from 1985 – 2002. He was the director and designer for the 2000 WGI Scholastic World Champion King Philip Indoor Marching Percussion Ensemble. Neil is a judge for WGI, NESBA and USSBA and is also the Director of Education and New Product Development for Vic Firth Inc.
