Revolution is pleased to announce the appointment of visual, brass, colorguard and percussion caption heads for the 2007 season. The selection process took a while; however we are very pleased with how complimentary each caption heads philosophy is with the corps mission of the corps and the overall goals of the YPA organization.

Carlos Botello will be taking the reins of the percussion. Carlos began his DCI marching carrier with Lone Star Drum and Bugle Corps in 1995-1997 marching snare all three years. In 1999 he was an age out of Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps, placing 4th at DCI Midwest I&E and 3rd at DCI I&E. In 2000, he also played snare in the Blue Knights WGI World Class Champion Percussion Ensemble, and took 2nd place at the Percussive Arts Society College snare drum individual’s competition. He is currently the assistant band director at South Garland High School in Garland, Texas “I am excited about the staff that has been assembled. I am sure that with this kind of talent we can continue the tradition of excellence that Revolution has been known for.” Mr. Botello stated. Former Cavalier Gordon Couch is stepping into the visual caption head position for the 2007 season. Mr. Couch is a graduate of the university of Kentucky. Mr. Williams has many years of drum corps experience from being a marching member of the Cavaliers to serving as a brass staff member with Revolution in 2006. We are very pleased of Jeremy’s Decision to return and increase his role this season.

Moses Ramos, 2007 colorguard caption head, has been involved in colorguard since he started his 1st of 4 seasons with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. Upon aging out in 2002, Moses joined the Revolution family as part of the winter guard staff and has been with the organization ever since. “I am looking forward to working with the talented staff to make the next stage in the development of this organization a success. I am most excited to be working with all of the talented young people who come to be a part of the Revolution family."

We are looking forward to the unique talents and individualism each caption head will bring to the corps. All the caption heads have incredible credentials and they all have past records of tremendous success.
