Blues, Inc. Announce Lucore As 2007 Brass Arranger

Dan is attending Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he is majoring in Music Education. He currently plays in many different types of groups, the notable ones being the GEYSO Jazz Band, the Concert Band of Northwest Pennsylvania, and the famed Erie Thunderbirds. He is a very active arranger and composer writing music for various settings, everything from rock bands to drum and bugle corps and beyond. In addition to his writing, he has been on staff with various groups, most recently The Edinboro University “Spirit of the Scots” Marching Band, The Dansville White Sabres and the General McLane Marching Band. Dan not only instructs the winds section but also is a front ensemble instructor. He also teaches private lessons on various instruments. Dan is a very accomplished musician while playing trumpet, french horn, bass and guitar.
