Carolina Crown November Camp Report

After over three months of anticipation, Carolina Crown held its first camp of the 2007 season at Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Students from nearly 30 states and from countries as far away as England and Japan have registered to participate in this year’s ensemble.

Crown’s popularity in the world of musical marching arts has grown leaps and bounds over the past few years, placing it among the most elite groups in the drum corps activity. During last year’s World Championships (broadcast on ESPN2) Crown was a notable fan favorite among all of the groups in competition. All signs indicate that the corps of 2007 will provide yet another year of major growth for the organization.
