Teal Sound Announces 2007 Drum Majors

The Teal Sound Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce the following members as Drum Majors for the 2007 season.

Bobby Duncan is returning for his 2nd year at DM. Bobby is a senior in high school at Lee County in Albany, GA and is currently the DM for the “Marchin’ Trojan Band.”

Kayla Swift is entering her 1st season with the corps and comes to Teal from Oviedo High School in Oviedo, FL where she is a senior and has been the DM for the past two seasons of the “Pride of Oviedo.”

Jordan Lindsley returns as Field Conductor in 2007 after taking a year off while undergoing surgery for a rare genetic disease called Spastic Para paresis. It affects Jordan’s ability to walk but he overcomes that by the will to be here with the corps and his desire to excel at everything he does.

Teal Sound is excited to have such dedicated individuals to lead the 2007 version this year. Assistant Director, Brian Fisher, who was once the Drum Major of Suncoast Sound responded with this, “These three individuals have shown an excellence in leadership that all of us here were looking for to take this corps into the future.” “We feel that Bobby, Kayla and Jordan all have the character and charisma to set a positive and professional example to the membership as well as representing the Teal Sound family in its day to day activities.”
