The Troopers have added a single-day brass audition to their already busy December schedule.

Brass students from the greater Knoxville, TN area and other eastern states are encouraged to join Ashley Waller of the Troopers brass staff at Halls High School for a full day of hands on educational instruction and auditions for the 2007 Troopers brass line.

The audition date is set for December 28 at Halls High School, located at 4321 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, TN 37938. The day begins at 10:00am and concludes at 8:00pm. Brass students aged 16-21 are asked to bring their own trumpet, mellophone, baritone or tuba to the event. Students are also asked to provide their own lunch and evening meal, in addition to their own transportation to and from the school. There is no fee to participate at this audition event.

Special Note: Brass, Percussion and Guard students living in the Rocky Mountain region and other western states are expected to attend the Troopers Cheyenne, WY full corps audition camp the same weekend. The Troopers will hold its second full corps audition for brass, percussion and color guard students at Storey Gymnasium in Cheyenne, WY December 28 through December 30.
