Cavaliers Cancel European Tour

The Cavaliers have decided to forgo their planned June, 2007 competitive tour to Europe and will remain in the United States, beginning their summer competitive schedule on Saturday, June 16, in Annapolis, MD.

The corps had hoped to confirm the trip in September, 2006, however extended the decision to January, 2007 because of the difficulty encountered by promoter Rob van Konigshoven, who had been developing the series of competitive events. The delay of the September confirmation was caused by interference from the overwhelming presence of the summer 2006 World Cup events in Europe.
