Academy Looks To “Step Up Game”

At the January DCI Board of Directors meeting in Atlanta, Dan Potter, DCI announcer and host of DCI Field Pass TV, caught up with Academy Executive Director Mark Richardson to talk about the 2006 Division II World Champions’ plans for the 2007 season. Approved in November by the Drum Corps International executive committee, the corps will take the field as Division I freshmen this summer.

“We need to improve being thrown into this arena with Division I groups. Every part of our game needs to step up,” said Richardson in the interview.
