Glassmen Announce 2007 Program

| |

For the 2007 summer season, The GLASSMEN Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to present ‘Gitano’; an original program exploring the culture, music and exoticism of the Spanish Gypsies.

Under the program direction of Sal Salas, arrangers/composers Robert W. Smith, Patrick Roszell, Chris Hestin, and Chad Heiny create a powerful and emotional musical tapestry inspired by the mystery and allure of the Gitanos.

"What a wonderful group of talented individuals to bring this production into the drum corps arena, and create an entertaining musical program for the audience," noted Program Coordinator Sal Salas.

Through the artistry of longtime GLASSMEN designers Alan Mueggenburg, Tim Newburn and Joe Heininger, the visual intrigue and exoticism of ‘Gitano’ will be brought to life – heightening the mystery, excitement and temptation of the Spanish Gypsies.

"Building on the excitement of the last couple of seasons, and the continued support of the fans both here and abroad, this program is going to be a great opportunity for the members, designers, and fans alike", states Executive Director Brian Hickman, "I can?t wait to see it come to life!"
