Kingsmen Take To The Field
Two years ago Joe Rybus decided to revisit his past – one person at a time.
He started with himself. The 50-year-old Newport Beach resident obtained a $7,000 contrabass bugle. Then he practiced to regain the musical chops he had 35 years ago as a soprano player in the Anaheim Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corps.
