Wachholz Joins BYBA Festival Brass Team

Clayton Wachholz is respected the world over for is dedication to music education, specifically in the area of Marching Bands. He has been involved in the drum and bugle corps activity as a performer and teacher for twenty-six years. As a baritone player he marched with the Thunderbolts (1979), Pioneer (1980-1984), and Madison Scouts (1985-1989).

Clay went on to teach the Madison Scouts brass section from 1991 to 1997. In 1998 he spent three years with the Capital Sound only to return to the Madison Scouts full time in 2001. Today, Clay is currently a teacher on the brass staff of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps.
