Drum Corps Champs Tooting For Cash

Valley students 14 to 21 will embark on a journey through the nation this summer, sleeping on gym floors and eating at food trailers as they showcase their talents as members of the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps.

But before they can embark, they need to raise the money to fund their journey.

"We have to have fundraisers and raise a lot of money in order to travel like we do and compete like we do," said student conductor Antonio Bracamonte, 19, of Chandler.
