DCI reports Headquarters break-in

Drum Corps International is reporting that their headquarters building was broken into overnight and items stolen. Apparently, several documents were stolen from the DCI safe – which contained historical artifacts, recordings, and items referencing the up-coming Classic Countdown.

After DCI.org released information on a late late-night security breach Tuesday night at Drum Corps International headquarters, the following picture from an anonymous source ended up in the inboxes of Drum Corps Planet editors. After several phone calls from DCP to DCI Executive Director Dan Acheson, Acheson would neither confirm nor deny that the corps listed on the note will appear in DCI’s 2007 Classic Countdown movie theater event this Thursday.
