Alliance Drill Camp Review

ALLIANCE celebrated a milestone in the three–year history of the corps by putting the entire opener on the field during the first drill camp of 2007! A fitting sequel to the 2006 show – “American Landscapes”, the 2007 show is entitled “American Overtures” and features “American Overture”, “Sonoran Desert Holiday”, and “American Faces”, arranged by Andrew Yozviak, Alan Sears, and Larry Summerlin.

Spirits were high and rehearsal was more productive than in past seasons, due to the excellent leadership of Mr. DeWire, brass caption head Scott Jones, and drum majors LaSalle Smith and Lisa Thomas-Smith. This is an almost all-new corps, with mostly college students and young adults.
