Great to be home…
Never thought that I would use that phrase to refer to a drum and bugle corps! The first camp that I have attended as a returning member of CorpsVets 2007 guard has been a great experience. When I looked at the calendar and realized that several of us were going straight from marching Center Stage right into a CV guard rehearsal the very next weekend after WGI Championships, I started whining about not getting a break between seasons. That whining ended the closer it got to the weekend since I knew it would be great to be spinning with my friends and soon-to-be friends.
CV Guard rehearsal April 21-22; I hopped out of bed, let the dog out, and then started searching for my drum corps gear…
