In The News: Colts To Give Free Performance June 15

Offering pounding percussion and blaring brass, the Colts drum and bugle corps will take to the Crestwood High School football field June 15 for a free performance.

CHS Band Director Jason Dobbs, who toured with the Colts for three years as a teen, said the free performance offers local music students an opportunity to really see the results of hard work, discipline and skill in a professional drum and bugle corps.

“It’s a great model for them,” Dobbs said. “The students see other students working hard and having fun. It’s kind of like being an artist and going to an art museum. It’s very inspirational, and I think it would be neat to get a couple Crestwood students involved in it.”
