In The News: Bluecoats Invade Denison For Practice

Beating drums and blaring horns can be heard across the Denison University campus as the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps rehearses its 2007 show, “Criminal.”

The corps, which has 135 members and is based in Canton, has been practicing at Denison since May 19. The corps will head to Annapolis, Md., for its first competition next week but will first perform a full dress rehearsal at Denison at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bluecoats Operations Manager Genevieve Geisler said the dress rehearsal will be quite a show. The corps members will sport new uniforms this year.
