In The News: Drum Corps To Compete At 2 Sites In Next 2 Weeks

If you’re planning to see any drum and bugle corps competitions in the Pittsburgh area this season, you will need to do so within the next two weeks.

Generally, local events have been held in mid or late July. But this year, corps will be touring the Midwest and West Coast during that time before heading to the Drum Corps International World Championships Aug. 7-11 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The first of two Pittsburgh-area competitions will be the Three Rivers Summer Music Games, 7 p.m. Sunday at Baldwin High School Stadium.
