After surviving nearly a month of boot-camp-like rehearsals in Illinois, Sioux Falls sisters Alicia and Lea Conrad are ready to give their hometown a show.

The trumpet-playing Roosevelt High School graduates will get that chance Tuesday when they march with the 135-member Phantom Regiment drum and bugle corps of Rockford, Ill., performing at Howard Wood Field. Their team is one of seven playing during the Sioux Empire Spectacular show.

It’s high-octane marching some call "Broadway on a football field."
