BYBA On The Road 2007 Set And Ready To Go

| |

Well folks all the plans are now in place. Two Corps will be setting off from their respective HQs in Cheshire and Warwick on Sunday morning and travelling to Devon.

Poynton Commodores and Warwick Girls will meet up in Newton Abbott where they will be based for the Devon leg of the tour.

Approximately 80 people will settle down on Sunday night in a Methodist Church Hall probably tired from their journey to Devon.

The schedule that awaits them is as follows:-

MONDAY Evening Performance at Dawlish Warren

TUESDAY Day Off for Corps (Sightseeing trips)

WEDNESDAY Evening Performance at Teignmouth

THURSDAY Travel to Cornwall

FRIDAY Afternoon Performance in Falmouth

SATURDAY Evening Performance at Perranporth

Plans are well in hand at each venue with volunteers from Rotary International assisting with collecting and publicising The Shelterbox Charity which we will be supporting with some of the money collected during the week.

Both Corps will be rehearsing most days at venues near to their bases as well as having free time to see the local tourist spots.

I believe some of the Commodores are looking forward to riding the surf whilst in Cornwall.

Watch this space for photographs and update reports during the week
