Caballeros Drum Line To Perform With Keith Urban

The Drum line of the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps from Hawthorne, New Jersey has been selected to perform on stage with Keith Urban.

Keith Urban’s Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour is currently traveling around the world and invites local drum lines to perform as part of the show. The Caballeros Drum line will appear with the tour in Wilkes Barre, PA on Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 at the Wachovia Arena and on Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 at the Continental Arena in East Rutherford, NJ.

Gary Gill, Percussion Caption Head for the Caballeros, is very excited to work with Keith Urban and his world class organization. “It is an honor to be chosen to perform with Keith Urban and it is a once in a lifetime experience for our drum line” said Gary. “A chance to be on stage in front of thousands of fans and introduce them to the Caballeros. The Hawthorne Caballeros, sponsored by American Legion Post #199 in Hawthorne, are in their 61st season of competition and have amassed a remarkable host of records. They have won the DCA World Championship 9 times, the American Legion National Title 16 times, the National Dream Contest 17 times, and the New Jersey State American Legion Title 43 times. They have completed 5 undefeated seasons, consecutively in 1984 and 1985. They have placed in the top 3 placements at the DCA World Championship 30 times in 41 appearances, a clear indicator of the Caballeros consistency for excellence on the drum corps field.
