Connecticut Hurricanes Drumline To Perform With Keith Urban

The Connecticut Hurricanes were honored to lead the parade of athletes into Kennedy Stadium in Bridgeport as Connecticut’s Nutmeg Games featured over 6,000 athletes participating in various sporting events. The Hurricanes were the lead unit in the parade and were joined by the Targets from Springfield, Mass., P.A.L. Buccanneers from Bridgeport, and the Prospect Drum Corps who each gave a musical selection to the fans and athletes in the stands. The Hurcs then performed their 2007 field show for the crowd on hand.

Corps director, Bernie Malesky, is very proud to announce that the Hurricanes drum line has been invited to perform on stage in concert with country music superstar Keith Urban. The concert will be held on Sunday August, 12th at the Mohegan Sun Casino Arena as the members of the Hurcs percussion line are extremely excited and honored to asked to participate in this event. The line has been making steady progress this DCA competitive season and are making excellent use of their brand new Dynasty percussion instruments.
