DCUK Chelmsford Contest Venue Change

They say lightening cannot strike twice in the same place – well with the current British weather anything is possible – and following the last minute change of venue for the first DCUK Contest at the beginning of June it is the weather that has had a major hand in now forcing the second DCUK Contest this coming weekend (7th July) to move venues.

An existing daytime Athletics booking at the venue in Chelmsford has now been extended due to other athletics events having to be canceled elsewhere due to the weather and this has impacted on the time the stadium is now available plus, due to the increased use during the day, could also cause a last minute cancellation of the event.

After many telephone calls and venue visits the revised venue is now White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre (New River Stadium) White Hart Lane, Wood Green, London and full details can be found at http://www.dcuk.org.uk/contests/contest07_2.html
