In The News: Drum And Bugle Corps Preps In Webb City For Competition
Carly Moskalski has had a busy summer.
The 16-year-old mellophone player from Webb City is touring with the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps, based in Lexington, Ky. She has practiced with the band for up to 12 hours a day since May, sleeping on floors in school gymnasiums, living out of a bus, and paying $1,700 for the privilege.
And she said she wouldn’t change a thing.
