In The News: Drum, Bugle Corps Rock Pittsburg State University

It’s not easy being in a drum corps – riding in a bus all summer, hitting a different city every day and marching your heart out.

"It’s no fun, and we actually pay to do this – we pay to sleep on school gym floors," said Jeremy Beck, a member of the world champion Blue Devils.

The Blue Devils, along with the Bluecoats, Pioneer, Spirit of JSU, Seattle Cascade and Madison Scouts participated Wednesday in the fourth annual Brass Spectacular at Pittsburg State University.
