In The News: Drum Corps Work Toward Perfection

Spectators at East Field saw the sun rise and set for the second time in one day on Monday night.

Teal Sound, from Jacksonville, Fla., performed "Voices of the Sun: The Music of Rajaton," a series a five pieces each representing a different stage of the sun’s procession throughout the day. They were performing at the 26th edition of the Adirondack Drums, presented by the Fort Edward Lions Club.

A total of nine drum corps, with members ranging in age from 14 to 22, competed against each other in one of many drum corps competition around the country this summer.
