In The News: Selby Stadium Is Site Of Drum Corps Contest

The Cadets of Allentown, Pa., edged out crowd favorite Phantom Regiment of Rockford, Ill., Monday during the Bob Costello Festival of Drum Corps. The festival is part of Drum Corps International’s Summer Music Games.

The games culminate the second week in August during the 2007 World Champ-ionships in Pasadena, Calif. The Colts of Dubuque, Iowa, finished third and were followed by Blue Stars of LaCrosse, Wis., The Academy of Tempe, Ariz., and Mandarins of Sacramento, Calif.

Bob Costello Festival of Drum Corps is sponsored by Enid High School’s Big Blue Band and is one of the band’s fundraisers.
