In The News: Thunder In The Desert Draws Native Back Home

For the first time in nearly 40 years, Ellen Barton Morrison is returning to Midland.

A business communications professor at the Red McComb School of Business at University of Texas at Austin, Morrison is coming to see one of her students perform in Thunder in the Desert.

The event is set for 7 p.m. July 23 at Grande Communications Stadium. This year’s clinic, starting at 4 p.m. that day, features the Glassmen from Toledo, Ohio. A ticket for the evening show is required to attend the clinic.
