Reunion, Hopkins’ Tribute Create Lasting Memories

The Cadets Homecoming Weekend on June 30 and July 1 at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, N.J., drew hundreds of Cadets alumni and friends of the corps as Youth Education in the Arts sponsored the drum corps show Music In Motion, an Alumni Reunion and the George Hopkins’ 25th Anniversary Tribute.

While thousands of fans attended the drum corps show at Giants Stadium on June 30, a private Cadets Alumni Reunion in The 50 Club earlier that evening welcomed more than 130 former Cadets embracing the past while rekindling friendships lost over the years. The pre-show gathering was highlighted with a spectacular memorabilia display by Holy Name, the newly founded alumni organization, and the singing of the corps song.
