37th Kingswood August Report

The “Summer Break” (excluding the weather this year) is coming to the end and we approach the second half of the season with a more determined attitude to finish off this year on a positive note. The experiences have been both high and low this season from the impact of flooding, loss of accommodation and friends outside the activity. The true spirit of the 37th is alive and the support to those members that had to endure some tough times without electricity and water was tremendous. To get away from it all a group dispatch themselves to Crete whilst a larger group from the corps endured a 10 hour flight to LA and onto DCI finals at the Rose Bowl stadium.

DCI for two of our members was the culmination of a life long achievement with both Rob and Dan aging out after marching 3 years with their respected corps, Santa Clara Vanguard and the Colts. On top of this we also caught up with Emma and Bryony who marched with the Bluecoats this year. “A big well done to all for a successful tour”.
