In The News: Drum Corps Rock The Rose Bowl

The Rose Bowl rattled and shook Saturday with an intensity that might have been mistaken for aftershocks from Thursday’s magnitude-4.6 earthquake.

But, fortunately for the thousands of viewers of the Drum Corps International World Championships, these were good vibrations.

Drummers, brass players and dancers performed and marched their hearts out in the early evening’s nearly 90-degree heat for the Division I finals, just as the Division II and III finalists had earlier in the day at Pasadena City College.
