The minute the Colts took the field at Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium, Lonny Nageotte stood up on the bleacher and raised a homemade cardboard sign that read, “We love you, Carrie Jo!”

Her proud father was not alone.

On Monday, Neosho High School senior Carrie Jo Nageotte, who is marching with the Colts drum and bugle corps of Dubuque, Iowa, had more than 60 family members – the majority being her Neosho High School Marching Band family of students, teachers and staff – in attendance during the Drums of Summer drum corps show.
