Spirit Members Win Individual Championships

Spirit is excited to announce two members have been named DCI Individual Champions for 2007. Brandon Self was named Tuba Individual Champion and Jonathon Brown won the Trombone Individual Championship on Wednesday August 8 at the DCI Individual and Ensemble Competition in Pasadena, California as part of the DCI World Championships.

In all, ten Spirit members performed in the competition. Kira LaRue finished 2nd in the Flute solo competition while Color Guard member Kirby Goode placed 3rd in the Clarinet contest.
