CorpsVets 2007 Season Wrap-up
The corps finished 9th among 22 corps from across the nation at DCA Championships in Rochester, NY over the Labor Day weekend. And again CorpsVets are the DCA South champions. This makes 5 consecutive years as a DCA finalist corps and also 5 consecutive years as DCA South champions. The CorpsVets chorus also are champions once again for the eighth year in a row.
In a recent letter to the corps, Executive Director Dave Stollberg wrote, "Thank you all for your extremely fantastic efforts this season. All of you made sacrifices to be a part of this organization and without each and every one of you this season would not have been possible. On behalf of the staff and the board of the corps, I thank you! I highly encourage you all to remain a part of the corps as we move into the future."
The corps will be giving their final 2007 Celebration! performance during the Yellow Jacket Classic marching band festival at Rockmart High School on Saturday, September 29th. This will be a bittersweet event for the CorpsVets as is also marks the end…
