Gilligan Returning To Key Role With Cadets

After weeks of discussion and consideration, Cadets Director George Hopkins has announced that April Gilligan will return to the corps for 2008, this time in a more or less full time role where she can assist and direct the progress of the color guard. One hedge – because of life and career commitments, there is a discussion in place that could lead to the inclusion of additional key players to partner with April, as well as many of the current tech staff who the Cadets hope to have on board. Drum corps, which now involves up to eight weeks of full time touring, can be difficult, and therein lies the need for a new look at the staffing parameters.
