Fusion Core Announces 2008 Open House

Fusion Core is pleased to announce open house will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007, Rahway, High School, 1012 Madison Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065. Registration will begin at 11:00 am with the opening of the 2008 Season announcements by the Director, Holly Marino. This is your chance to check out Fusion Core, see what it’s all about, meet the members, prospective members as well as staff; you will not be disappointed!! Family and friends are encouraged to come and experience what drum corps is all about.

After a very successful first season we are honored to be joined by so many wonderful corps competing within the DCA Circuit and are dedicated to making the drum corps experience memorable for all our members. The level of talent and dedication by the members, staff and administration far exceeded our expectations in 2007 and we look forward to expanding our existing membership for 2008. The music, marching as well as color guard programs in place by our dedicated staff of music educators and drum corps professionals will provide you the members with the skills to be successful not only in the sport of drum corps but in life. Definitely not an event to miss!! Even if you’re not sure where you will be marching this year, or if you are new to drum corps, all are welcome no matter what your level of experience. Chris Kilian, Show Coordinator, will be announcing the 2008 show followed by introduction of staff.

We know you do not want to miss out on this, so here is how YOU can be prepared:

BRASS should bring gloves, hand towel, Bb horn (if you have) and a mouthpiece.
GUARD should bring gloves
PERCUSSION should bring sticks, mallets (Battery – drum pads, and if you have one, a snare
