BYBA I&E Gets Better And Better

| |

A Full report and even a DVD of the event are being prepared and will be with us shortly, but if you weren’t there yesterday, 24th November 2007, you would have missed on the biggest turnout of entrants and the largest number of entering Bands so far in over 10 years, beating last years figures by almost a full 10% all round!

The day was filled with some remarkable performances in all areas of the Marching Band world, and also some additional specialties that are not typically associated in addition with our Open Entertainment section.

Our Congratulations go out to each and every performer yesterday for making the day so brilliantly memorable, and to Paul Cartwright and his team for such a well run event again.

The culmination of highest scorers for each Musical category (Percussion, Mallets, Woodwind, Wind) go onto the finale showpiece of the BYBA Young Musician of the Year, and the 2007 winner was an exquisitely played Mallet performance by Concord Drum & Bugle Corps’ Aiko Tomatsu.

Watch out for the report coming soon and for a complete list of winners from all classes on the BYBA Web Site real soon and congratulations once again to every participant. See you all again next year!
