Spirit From JSU Announces 2008 Drum Majors

Spirit from JSU is pleased to announced conductors for the 2008 season. Josh Walker, Drum Major and Lauren Lingerfelft, Assistant Drum Major have accepted positions of leadership with the corps.

Walker, 21, returns for his second season on the Spirit podium. Josh served as Assistant Drum Major during the 2007 season. He is entering his fourth season with Spirit after having performed two seasons in the Spirit Mellophone section before moving to the conductor’s podium. Currently, he is a Drum Major for the Marching Southerners of Jacksonville State University. Josh is a Junior Music Education major at JSU from Millport, Alabama.
