YEA! Seeking Marketing, PR Interns

Youth Education in the Arts [YEA!] is taking applications for Marketing and Public Relations Interns for Summer and Fall 2008.

Marketing interns for YEA! will gain experience in the publicity and promotion of YEA! activities while receiving hands-on training in a variety of advertising and marketing tasks. Interns will brainstorm, strategize and implement campaigns based on the organization’s needs. Interns in this role will utilize their writing, research and organization skills while interacting with media and reporters to maximize event attendance and positive exposure for the organization. Tasks can include developing new media contacts, writing press releases, pitching stories to press contacts, and securing review coverage for performances.
