2008 Boston Crusaders January Camp Brief

It almost felt like New England in Florida for much of this weekend’s camp. Mother nature threw the corps some curveballs, but we still managed to get time on the field to learn some drill in between thunderstorms and frigid Florida weather. Designers Jay Kennedy, Brian Murphy and Rich Viano were all on hand to evaluate the first half of the show, taking copious notes during ensemble blocks. In addition to putting the yet to be announced opener on the field, the hornline was able to play through John Mackey’s Kingfishers Catch Fire for the first time this weekend, to the delight of our volunteers and support staff. A special thank you to all the parents and friends who came out to Boone to help feed the corps!
