Coming off of a highly successful season with the corps, as well as a great drum corps rookie experience, I was anxious to have our first camp of the new season. With the new visual and percussion staff, I knew this season would be much different than the last.

The new marching technique we are implementing this season is well-liked by the whole corps. It was clear that every section was utilizing the time given to its full extent, trying to perfect the new approach as quickly as possible. This carried into the battery, as on a couple occasions, after being a given some instruction, we would hear, "Good, snares! Good change!" The positive reinforcement only improved the attitude of the line.
